Trimbos Institute reached out to 1,3 million Dutch in 2017

Through all its websites the Trimbos Institute, reached out to more than 1.3 million unique persons in 2017. More than 6,500 people called the toll free numbers about smoking cessation, drinking less alcohol, using drugs and problematic gaming and gambling behaviour.
These are some highlights of the annual report of the Public Information Program. The Public Information Program is part of the Trimbos Institute, it provides factual and reliable information on tobacco, alcohol, drugs and other problematic behaviour to the general public, health professionals and policy makers. Its activities are funded by Dutch Ministry of Health.
