About this project:

The Trimbos Institute participates in the EC-supported project Correlation II (2009-2011), whose aim is 'to tackle health inequalities in Europe and to improve prevention, care and treatment services, targeting blood-borne infectious diseases (BBID), in particular Hepatitis C and HIV/AIDS among vulnerable and high risk populations (e.g. drug users and young people at risk).’

The actvities to update the Peer Support Manual are coordinated by the Trimbos Institute. The manual describes experiences, good practices and lessons already learned from peer support in Europe. Its ultimate aim is to initiate and facilitate the design and implementation of effective peer support programmes for drug users, as well as in other areas of health promotion and social care for vulnerable groups.
