Mental Vitality
Every year some 740,000 adults in the Netherlands struggle with depression. Many more have depressive symptoms; without help, they risk of developing full-blown depression. The Trimbos Institute has joined forces with a large number of partners to develop depression prevention initiatives. One such venture is the broad-scale ‘Mental Vitality’ programme, whose 16 subprojects are designed to improve various aspects of depression prevention.
Online parenting support for parents with mental health problems
The online intervention Kop op ouders (Chin up, Parents) is targeted at parents who have mental health problems. The website attracts 5,000 visitors monthly. Read more about this intervention.
