The Trimbos Institute offers a wide range of placement opportunities to students seeking to gain work experience.
Since every placement is tailor-made, please accompany your CV with a covering letter stating:
- for which degree programme you want to do the placement
- what criteria the placement needs to meet
- your interests and strengths
- the desired placement period
- the hours and duration required for the placement.
The Trimbos Institute is a centre of expertise on mental health, addiction and social care. We do not have patients, clients or residents in treatment.

Placement allowance
In accordance with the collective labour agreement for the Dutch mental health sector (CAO Geestelijke Gezondheidszorg ), we pay training allowances for all mandatory placements of more than one month. The gross training allowance for a 36-hour week is currently €300 a month, including expenses.
